USING CRUZFAX

CruzFax is simple to use. All you need is a subscriber number and a PIN.

CruzFax is a breakthrough in information access in Santa Cruz County for several reasons, including:

· Speed of Retrieval – You can literally retrieve desired information within minutes of the need arising.

· Currency of Information – Unlike information produced by commercial services and other repackagers of data, CruzFax retrieves data directly from the County’s computer systems ensuring that you have the most current data.

· Cost – When compared with the time and expense associated with driving to the County offices, searching for data, and paying for copies of documents, CruzFax is the low cost alternative.

· Convenience – No more convenient method of access is available, as most businesses and private citizens now have computers.

INFORMATION AVAILABLE

CruzFax contains parcel characteristic information for all residential properties in Santa Cruz County. This includes parcel size, year built, improvement square footage, bed/bath count and total room count. It also has zoning and general plan information for the unincorporated area of the County.

FEES

An initial one-year subscription costs $150. Subsequent yearly subscriptions are based on prior year usage.
