GOLDDell Leeman

For the past eight years, Dell Leeman has provided indispensable support to the HIV Prevention Program and has been the silent rock behind this highly visible community-based program. With the many changes that have evolved over the years in HIV prevention and education, the one consistent factor has always been Dell Leeman. Dell has provided both clerical and administrative support to program staff and has carried out all data entry and processing of HIV/HCV tests. She is renowned for her formidable speed and accuracy. She is also credited with being able to manage and implement changes in mandated approaches in the program, working to fold them into the natural flow of the overall program's mission and workload. In fact, she is such a critical component of the successful operation of the program that when she submits a request for time off, her co-workers actually have to strategize to figure out how they will survive without her. Dell consistently demonstrates a level of excellence in public service deserving of recognition.
