Santa Cruz
County Environmental Health Services has been designated as
the "Certified Unified Program Agency" (CUPA), within
the geographic boundaries of the County (including all four Cities), by
the California Environmental Protection Agency. As such,
Environmental Health is responsible for enforcing the local ordinance
(Chapter 7.100) and State Laws pertaining to use and storage of hazardous
